Emberlee breaks her arm.

My Princess and her bright pink cast.
Well on August 10th Emberlee fell from the monkey bars at school. She was in an Ace Bandage since then until today. We went to the Orthopedic Surgeons office and we got a bright pink cast for Emberlees left arm. Which just so happens to be her writing arm. It looks so big on my little peanut. She was a trooper while getting her cast, what a big girl.

The Princesses first day of school.

Well while I am used to school starting on the first Wednesday after Labor Day, here in Az today was the first day of school for two princesses. They are both going into Kindergarten and will be in the same class (as there is only 1 Kindergarten class) at the Charter school that I choose. The school came
very highly recomended. It is a Christian based Charter school that I think the girls will do better in, rather than public schools. The public schools here are down towards the bottom of the list. So unimpressive. Emberlee is entering on time, and Jesse tested into Kindergarten from the Preschool level. My girls are so smart!!!!! It feels really wierd not having them home, though now I have to get a job. Doing what I really don't care so long as it helps me pay the bills.

Create a Back-to-School Snack Bar

It’s almost time for back-to-school, and with that comes hungry kids home for afternoon snacks! A great way to keep them focused on homework and to satisfy their hunger is to feed them at their desks. Create a convenient snack bar right by their favorite homework spot. You can use empty Baking Line jars to create a spread like this!

With healthy snacks at their fingertips, you won’t have to worry about them venturing off to look for something to eat or find them digging through the pantry attempting to snag your secret stash of cookies―those are your sweet indulgence!
